New York Ice Cream

This is from an old Pillsbury cookbook that is falling apart. I don't have the front cover and part of the pages are torn. So, I'm going to share these before the book is completely destroyed. ** See Neapolitan and Philadelphia class ice cream directions.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 3 cups cream shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- 7 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 TBS gelatine shopping list
- 1 TBS vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 TBS lemon extract shopping list
- warm water shopping list
How to make it
- Make a custard of milk, sugar, egg yolks and salt bring to a boil. Remove from the fire and add the gelatine, melted in a little warm water, cool strain and flavor. Whip the cream, add it to the custard and freeze.
