How to make it

  • Saute garlic and onions in olive oil over medium heat until translucent
  • Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, salt and pepper to the skillet
  • Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes begin to break down and a sauce forms. (About 15 minutes, but it may take longer if you use all red tomatoes as they have more juice) Be certain to stir at least every few minutes, tomatoes burn easily!
  • Combine with the pasta, top with cheese
  • Eat
  • Enjoy! :)
