Porcupine Meatballs Ala Sooz

- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 cup long grain rice, uncooked (I use Uncle Ben's brown or whole grain rice) shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup, divided shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Combine ground beef, rice, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup of the tomato soup. Mix well.
- Shape mixture into about 20 small meatballs
- Place meatballs in a large soup pan with a lid
- Mix rest of soup, water, and Worcestershire in a small bowl; pour over meatballs
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover; and simmer 40 mintes or until meatballs are cooked and rice is soft, stirring often.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or even egg noodles.
