How to make it

  • First layer: Stir together butter, flour, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans and pat into the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 400*. Let cool
  • Second layer: Beat together sugar, cream cheese, and half of the cool whip. Spread on top of cooled crust.
  • Third layer: Prepare the pudding according to package directions using only 3 cups of milk. Spread on top of second layer.
  • Fourth layer: Spread the remaining cool whip over the pudding and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Refrigerate until ready to use.
