Butterscotch Sauce

- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 4 TBS butter shopping list
- 1/8 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup hot water shopping list
How to make it
- Caramelize 1 TBS sugar by heating until melted and a light brown. Add water to dissolve sugar; add brown sugar, remaining sugar, butter, and salt; heat until sugar is dissolved. This sauce may be thickened with 1/2 TBS cornstarch, mixed with a little cold water.
