Star Cookies

These are yummy any time of year, but make a nice xmas gift. Use a large star cookie cutter and a tiny star cookie cutter to make a hole in the middle, then you can stack them and tie a ribbon through them to give as a gift.
Ingredients
- 125g plain flour shopping list
- half packet vanilla whip powder shopping list
- 100g dark brown sugar shopping list
- 100g margarine shopping list
- 3-4tbsp milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- flour (to roll) shopping list
- icing sugar (to roll) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the ingredients (except the rolling ingredients) in a bowl to form a dough. Leave the dough for a few hours or overnight in the fridge for flavors to combine.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Roll out the dough onto a floured/sugared surface and cut out into large stars with the cutter. Use a smaller star in the center. Place on greased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 minutes until golden brown.
