Ingredients
  • 600g rump steak
  • 1large onion
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small container beef stock (prepared)
  • or 2 beef stock cubes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cream

Directions
  1. chop onion and crush the garlic cloves
  2. saute in fry pan until nice and brown
  3. cut steak into cubes and brown
  4. add salt, pepper and beef stock to pan
  5. if using beef stock cubes add 1/2 cup water to pan
  6. simmer covered for 10-15 min on low heat
  7. add cream and serve
  8. from heat and add cream - serve straight away
  9. serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables such as green beans and mashed parsnip and carrot or butternut
  10. great comfort food in winter yummo
