How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 F. You will need a jelly roll pan for best results.
  • In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt.
  • Cut butter into flour mixture until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
  • Pat mixture into an ungreased 15"x10"x1" jelly roll pan (I think my pan might only be 3/4" tall) pressing down well.
  • Prick all over the top with a fork.
  • Place in oven and bake for 35 minutes or until center is set.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cut into square, then continue to cool to room temperature.
