Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • Cook your chicken how ever you like (boil, fry etc..) set aside until needed
  • unroll your pie crusts (if store bought)
  • Put the egg wash on one side of both pie crusts (the botton of one pie crust, the top of the other)
  • Place the first pie crust egg wash side down in a 9 inch pie plate
  • combine the first 6 ingredients in a mixing bowl
  • mix well
  • pour in to pie shell
  • place the second pie crust on top crimping edges to seal
  • make a cross type slit in the center of the top of the pie crust
  • place in the oven and bake for 49 mins or until a medium golden brown
  • take out, place on a wire rack and cool for 10 minutes
