How to make it

  • On stove top heat a frying pan (for which you have a lid), then add olive oil or butter. Brown the chicken while you chop up the bell pepper and add to pan with crushed garlic, brown a bit more and turn chicken over, add the whiskey, salt and pepper, reduce heat and pop on the lid until chicken is cooked (you may need to add a few drops of water to avoid it sticking or a bit more whisky). Serve with a large green salad and freshly steamed green beans or mashed potatoes.
  • For 2 (double up ingredients for 4, and triple for 6... etc.)
