This method is a very easy a quick method but the only thing is all the ingridients must be at room temperature! One other thing is that you must only beat the mixture for 2 min or it will toughen it!
Ingredients
- 125g/ 4 oz butter or soft margarine shopping list
- 125g/ 4 oz caster sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 125g/ 4 oz self-raising flour, sifted shopping list
- 1 level tsp of baking powder, sifted shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to gas mark 4. Prepere two sanwich tins.
- 2.Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat for 1 min.
- 3.Divide mixture mixture between the two sanwich tins. smooth the tops and bake for 20min
