How to make it

  • Take the bone out of the steaks
  • Pound the heck out of the steaks on both sides
  • line a baking dish with foil (makes clean up WAY easy)
  • Pour a thick layer of BBQ sauce on bottom of pan
  • lay pork blade steaks down
  • cover heavily with BBQ sauce
  • Bake uncovered in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes
  • halfway through baking top with thinly sliced onion

    Very simple but very tasty. It reminded us of a homemade McRib. We ground some pepper over the steaks before pouring on the sauce, and cooked them 6-7 extra minutes because we had four steaks and they filled up the pan. We'll definitely make these again.
