Red Berry Crumble

- 140g butter cubed, plus extra for greasing shopping list
- 150g flour shopping list
- 100g caster sugar shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 250ml creme fraiche, or cream optional shopping list
- (filling) shopping list
- 200g strawberries shopping list
- 300g cherries shopping list
- 100g red currants shopping list
- 150g raspberries shopping list
- 100g blackberries shopping list
- 2 tbls runny honey shopping list
- 1 tbls lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 200oC. grease an ovenproof baking dish.
- in a large bowl, mix flour with sugar and salt. add cubed butter, rubbing it in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- cut the larger strawberries in half. stone the cherries. gently mix all fruit together in a bowl.
- spread fruit mix over the bottom of the baking dish. mix the honey and lemon juice and pour over the fruit, then spread the crumble evenly over the top.
- bake for 25mins, or until golden brown and bubbling hot. serve either hot or warm, either with or without cream........enjoy =)
