Spanish Rice

- 2 Cups of uncooked rice shopping list
- 1/4 Cup of vegetable oil shopping list
- 4 Cups of water or chicken broth (preferably the broth but water will do) shopping list
- 1/2 Large onion shopping list
- 1 Large ripe tomato shopping list
- 1/2 can of sweet corn shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon of seasoning salt shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon of garlic salt shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon of ground cumin shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons of tomato bullion shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon of sugar shopping list
- 1/4 Cup of chopped cilantro shopping list
How to make it
- 1) Mix all spices and rice in bowl
- 2) Dice onion and tomato
- 3) Heat oil in pan and cook onion until translucent
- 4) Add in rice and spices and cook for about a minute and a half stirring frequently
- 5) Add in tomato and corn and cook for another two minutes
- 6) Pour in the four cups of water or broth
- 7) Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and cover stirring occasionally for 20 minutes
- 8) Fluff and serve
