How to make it

  • Extract avocado meat by cutting long ways, twist to separate the halves, then knife horizontally into the seed and twist to pull it out. Use a spoon to scoop out the avocado from the skin
  • Place in a bowl and smash using a fork. Note that bigger bits of avocado are great to leave in!
  • Halve the lemon and squeeze the juice into the bowl, making sure not to pop any seeds out. I use a small wire strainer
  • Add the other ingredients and mix
  • Enjoy with tortilla chips!!

    Do you like adding any heat to it, or not? I've loved guacamole for many years, and used chips or veggie for dippers. I especially like it when avocados are on sale ;-)
