From 1944's Everyday Foods. I will sit down one day and read the beginning of this book and find out how to really cook! Everyday Foods is a text book.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/2 lb. sweet chocolate shopping list
- 3 TBS butter shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Melt chocolate in double boiler. Remove from heat, add butter, then condensed milk and vanilla, stirring well. As soon as mixture begins to thicken, drop from spoon onto a buttered baking sheet. Add toasted nuts or roll in chopped nuts.
