From matth 14 years agoIngredients
- 1/4 cup butter (half a stick) shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tbs maple sugar shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
- Grade B or A Dark Amber maple syrup shopping list
- Optionally a firm banana or other fruit/nut topping shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Add butter to the annekoeken pan and place it in the oven
- In a mixing bowl, add the eggs and mix them well
- Add the milk and maple sugar and mix
- Add the flour and mix
- By now, the butter should be melted and bubbling, so remove the pan carefully (it's hot hot hot!) and pour in the mix
- Place it back in the oven for 13 minutes
- After 13 minutes, if the edges aren't brown yet, turn the oven to broil for 1 minute
- Remove and slide off the pan onto a large plate
- Cut in half, sprinkle on powdered sugar
- Thinly slice the banana onto the halves, or use other fruits and nuts - blueberries, raspberries, walnuts work great
- Sprinkle on more powdered sugar
- Add a few very light lines of maple syrup - don't smother it like a normal pancake!
- Enjoy!!!
