How to make it

  • Peel the Yucca with a potato peeler.
  • Cut in chunks.
  • Grind the yucca using a grater.
  • Put the grated yucca in a bowl.
  • To the grated yucca, add the anise,egg, salt and sugar
  • Mix well.
  • Heat a skillet with 1 cup of oil. Bring the temp. up to 350 degrees.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop scoops of yucca into the oil.
  • Fry both sides until golden brown.
  • Serve hot
