Swiss Steak

- 2 T flour shopping list
- ½ t salt shopping list
- ¼ t pepper shopping list
- 1 ½ pounds top round steak shopping list
- 2 T oil shopping list
- 2 medium onions chopped shopping list
- 2 (5 ½ oz each) cans tomato juice shopping list
- 1 c diced tomatoes shopping list
- 4 t lemon juice shopping list
- 4 t worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2-3 T packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 t prepared mustard shopping list
How to make it
- In a zip bag, combine flour, salt and pepper
- Add steak cut in 4 pieces
- Shake and then remove from bag
- Pound flat with a mallet
- Brown meat in skillet in oil
- Transfer to 2 qt baking dish coated with spray
- In same skillet, sauté onions in drippings til tender
- Stir in remaining ingredients
- Pour over meat
- Cover and bake 350 degrees for 1.5 hours
