American Chop Suey

- 1 box of elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1 1/2 lb of lean hamburger ( I use at least 85) shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 2 stalks of celery shopping list
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes (about 28 ozs) shopping list
- 2 cans of stewed tomatoes (about 14 ozs) shopping list
- 1 tbs. brown suger shopping list
- 1 tbs worchester sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- olive for sauteing veggies shopping list
How to make it
- Boil water in a pot add enough water to cover maccaroni.
- Cook maccaroni so it's still a little undercooked
- In a large skillet add olive oil just enough to coat pan about 2 to 3 tbs.
- saute veggies just until transparent.
- Add hamburger cook until brown, drain extra fat.
- add tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, brown suger, worchester sause and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until bubbly over med. heat. add undercooked maccorni and cook for about 10 more minutes until flavors come together. This is even better as leftovers.
