Baked Macaroni And Cheese

- 7-8 oz elbow macaroni shopping list
- 3 TBS butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 TBS grated onion shopping list
- 1 TBS flour shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 lb. sharp American cheese, grated shopping list
- paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Cook macaroni as directed; drain. Preheat frypan on med-high heat. Melt 2 TBS butter, add crumbs, brown, stirring. Remove. Add remaining butter and onions, lower heat and saute. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and mustard. Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese.
- Drain macaroni and mix in lightly with a fork. Top with remaining cheese and crumbs. sprinkle with paprika. Cover and bake until bubbly and hot.
