How to make it

  • To cook my apples I just halve two large apples, skin on, put in a small pot with 1/4 water.. turn on lowest possible heat and cover tightly. Simmer until mushy, but still chunky.. remove skins and seeds.
  • As with most recipes I have, my ingredients are organic when possible. I don't know how much of a difference this makes in the recipe, but I think worth pointing out as some things cook differently when organic.
  • I have a Zojirushi 2lb bread machine. This loaf is very large, you may need to modify if you have a smaller machine.
  • Add all ingredients, set the timer, and wait.
  • YUMMIE!!! Serve warm with a small spread of butter and a glass or organic milk.
