How to make it

  • In a saucepan, put in all the chicken bones you have, and any other parts of the chicken not eaten.
  • Roughly chop up an onion and add.
  • Top up with water and bring to boil
  • Then immediately turn heat down to 2 or 3 put on the lid and boil for 2 hours.
  • Select some clean containers with lids to pour your stock in.
  • Use a small mesh sieve to strain the stock from the bones and into the various clean containers.
  • Leave to cool and then freeze.
  • OTHER TIPS
  • You can use an ice-cube tray instead so that you always have access to a small amount of stock when needed.
