Chinese Style Steamed Fish

- 1 fish red snapper or anyfish with white meat (1kg) shopping list
- 2 pieces of chinese black dried mushroom shopping list
- 1 piece of carrot shopping list
- 1 whole scallion (choose the large ones) shopping list
- 1/4 capsicums or red chillies shopping list
- 1x3cm slice of ginger shopping list
- 1 TBSP vegetable oil or sesame oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 TBSP light soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Clean the fish , drain , and pat it dry
- Slash the fish diagonally , on both sides .
- Drain the mushroom , and squeeze until the water runs out. Remove the stem , and slice the mushroom thinly .
- Place the fish on a plate , scatter the the vegetables and ginger . Drizzle the sesame oil and soy sauce .
- Place the plate , in the steamer , carefully . Place the steamer top closely , and steam the fish for about 12 minutes or until the fish is cooked .
