What To Do With Too-ripe Bananas

- 1 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c. (or 12 T) shortening (I use butter or margerine) shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 3/4 c, juice or water (I use orange juice) shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. banana pulp shopping list
- 2 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- nuts and/or raisins as desired shopping list
How to make it
- Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix unil smooth. Pour into a greased 9x 13-inch rectangular pan, a tube pan or a Bundt pan. Bake in a 375° oven about 1 hour or until dark brown.
