How to make it

  • 1) Slice the bananas to small pieces , heat the pan with 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2) Add the sliced bananas into the pan and stir till brown .Add little water to prevent burning of the banana.
  • 3)Add sugar after awhile and a pinch of salt to it
  • 4) For the dough- Put the 3 cups of flour into a tub and with half a teaspoon of salt ( if butter unsalted) and mix with the butter. Best mixed using hands , make a soft dough only with butter- no water needed
  • 5) Finally, bake the pie for 40 minutes at 180 degree celcius..Golden brown delicious banana pie is ready to be served
