Orange Sorbet

- 500 ML water shopping list
- 200 G caster sugar shopping list
- 4 large oranges shopping list
- 2 TBS orange liqueur such as cointreau shopping list
- 4 scooped-out oranges to serve shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the water and sugar in a scaucepan over low heat, stirring until dissolved. Boil with out stirring fir 2 minutes. Pour into a heatproof bowl. Cool to room temperature.
- Grate the rind from 2 oranges and extract the juice.extract the juice from 2 more oranges. Mix the juice and the ring in a bowl, cover with cling film and reserve. Stir the orange juice, grated rind and orange liqueur into the cooled syrup. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Transfer in ice cream machine and chum for 5 minutes.
- If you dont have ice cream machine, place the mixture in a heat proof container. Freeze for 1 hour, then transfer to a bowl. Beat to break up the crystals, then return to the freeze proof container and freeze for 30 minutes. Repeat twice more.
- Divide the frozen sorbet between the scooped-out cups and serve immediately.
