How to make it

  • • Make the Pesto:
  • In a food processor through in the garlic cloves, the basil, and the pine nuts.Pulse a few times to chop up good. Slowly stream in the oil while the processor is on. Stop and scrape the sides down. Turn processor on and add the cheese. Pulse until blended. Add the salt and pepper. See Photo
  • Scrape pesto into bowl.
  • Optional:(You can also toast the pine nuts before you start the pesto in a dry pan over low heat)
  • • Put about 6-7 Tablespoons of Mayo in a separate bowl and add in 3-4 Tablespoons of the pesto mixture and stir well. Taste to see if you want to add more pesto. Store in fridge until ready to use.
