How to make it

  • Use homemade crusts or buy frozen ones & bake according to directions. When pie shells are finished baking, turn off the oven, line each with a layer of raspberries & set back in the cooling oven.
  • Beat egg yolks & add to milk in a medium sauce pan
  • Add pudding mix to milk & cook, stirring constantly to a rolling boil.
  • Let cool slightly (about 15 min.), stirring frequently.
  • Spoon custard over berries in pie shells until shells are full.
  • Let custard set until firm.
  • Make lots.
