How to make it

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the onion, bell pepper, chilies, and garlic.
  • Saute until the vegetables are tender but not browned (about 5 minutes).
  • Add the tomato, lime juice, bay leaf, parsley, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  • Simmer, uncovered, until the sauce is slightly reduced (about 5 minutes).
  • Remove the bay leaf and stir in the Worcestershire sauce and Pickapeppa sauce..
  • Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink (about 3 minutes).
  • Serve with rice or boiled flour dumplings.
