Almond Crusted Halibut

- 4 halibut filets shopping list
- 1/3 c. flour shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 c. honey shopping list
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds (crushed into smaller pieces) shopping list
- sea salt shopping list
- fresh cracked pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbsp oilive oil shopping list
- 2 Tbsp butter shopping list
- Large saute pan shopping list
How to make it
- Pat the filets dry with paper towels.
- Dredge the filets in the flour and let sit 5 to 10 minutes until the flour on the filets is sticky.
- In a separate bowl, combine the egg and honey and mix thoroughly.
- In another bowl, combine the almonds, 2 Tbsp flour and a few pinches of salt and pepper.
- Dredge the filets again in the flour, then in the egg mixture and finally in the almond mixture until fully coated.
- Heat the butter and olive oil in the saute pan over medium to medium-high heat.
- Pan fry the filets until fully cooked. (About 3 to 5 minutes each side, depending on the thickness of the filets.)
- Move to a plate lined with paper towels to allow extra oil and butter to drain off.
