Supreme Pork Chop

- 600g pork chop/Pork Loin shopping list
- 1 onion – slices (optional) shopping list
- MARINADE: shopping list
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 tbsp plain flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp custard powder shopping list
- 1 tsp soda bicarbonate - tenderizer (I opt out) shopping list
- 200ml water shopping list
- 200g corn flour (add in last) shopping list
- SAUCE: shopping list
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp curry powder shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp light soy sauce shopping list
- 3 tbsp water shopping list
How to make it
- METHOD:
- 1. Cut the pork chop into 1 cm thick and pound the pork chop with the back of a knife till tender
- 2. In a bowl, add in marinade except corn flour, mix well and leave for 30 minutes.
- 3. Add in the corn flour to the pork chop and mix well.
- 4. Heat up oil for deep-frying.
- 5. Put in the pork chops and deep-fry till golden brown and cooked
- 6. Dish and drain on paper towel
- 7. In another small bowl, combine the ingredients for the sauce
- 8. Leave about 1 tbsp of oil in the wok, sauté onion (skip this step if no onion use)
- 9. Pour in the sauce and cook till you get a thick texture
- 10. Add in pork chops and mix well
