Biscotti - Mexican Chocolate

- 1/3 cup vegetable shortening shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1/4 cup powdered coco shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1tsp baking powder shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups flour shopping list
How to make it
- Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, butter milk, coco, cinnamon and cayenne.
- Add flour and mix thoroughly until it becomes a thick pliable dough.
- Place on a large greased cookie sheet and form into a 1/2" X 6" X18
- Bake at 350 for 20 min. remove from oven and allow to cool for 45 min.
- cut into 3/4" X 6" slices and bake at 300 for 6 min per side and cool.
- You can melt chocolate chips and coat one side if you desire that little extra
