How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a 9x15 inch pyrex dish, dump cherry pie filling and spread to cover bottom of pan
  • spread crushed pineapple over cherries
  • Dump cake mix to cover fruit
  • Pour melted butter over cake mix
  • sprinkle desired amount of shredded coconut
  • sprinkle chopped nuts over top if desired.
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
