Ingredients

How to make it

  • Sift all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Make a 'well' in the mixture and add about 100ml of water. Mix well and keep adding water until the dough appears to be coming together.
  • Turn out onto a floured surface and start kneading. Keep kneading until the dough stops feeling sticky to touch. You may need to keep dusting the dough and worksurface with flour until the dough stops sticking
  • Using a little Cooking Oil very lightly rub the inside of a large bowl, Place the dough in to the bowl. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and a teatowel and put in a warm place to rise for at least one hour or put in the oven (covered) on about 100 degrees Celsius for 10mins or until it looks to have doubled in size. Take the cover off and push the dough down and again let it rise until it has doubled in size. You can repeat this another time if you want, the more you do this the lighter the bread. You can how ever just let it rise once and then put it on a baking tray to rise again for 30 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius then it is ready to add any topping you wish.
