How to make it

  • 1. Put condensed milk and butter and golden syrup in a small heavy bottomed saucepan (a thicker saucepan prevents the mixture from burning). Heat for about 5 – 7 minutes stirring constantly and until bubbling.
  • 2. Now add the 250g of chopped chocolate of your choice to the bubbling mixture, and stir till chocolate is fully incorporated to the mixture. Still stirring constantly, boil for another 6 minutes.
  • 3. When mixture is done, put digestive biscuits in large mixing bowl and crush with a spoon till broken into small pieces.
  • 4. Put in all other ingredients apart from mixture. Note this has to be done quickly!
  • 5. Now pour in the mixture and fully combine everything together.
  • 6. Evenly put into a greased and lined baking tray. Leave to set in the fridge for an hour till hard. Cut into pieces sized of your choice. Enjoy!
