How to make it

  • Spray medium frypan with vegetable spray. Over medium heat , saute pepper and onions 'till onions are transparent & pepper is soft.
  • Add "Gimme Lean" with the Italian seasoning and break up and stir 'till heated through. Add soy crumbles and marinara sauce and continue to cook, stirring occasionally till bubbly.
  • Spoon meat mixture into french roll and cover with mozzarella. Heat in toaster oven (or regular oven set @350 deg.) 'till cheese begins to brown and is somewhat melted (the vegan cheese doesn't quite melt like its dairy counterpart---but that's OK). Remove from oven and serve with chips (or fries) and Italian peppers.
