Sunrise Quesadilla Recipe
A classic quesadilla with quite a kick! Created in the middle of the night, when we had "no groceries" and anything else to cook.

Ingredients
  • 3 microwavable MAPLE link sausages
  • 3 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 2 slices of provolone cheese
  • Chopped chives as desired
  • 2 corn/wheat/flour tortillas, depending on your taste.
  • Garlic salt to taste

Directions
  1. Cook sausages as directed; cut in small pieces.
  2. Place a tortilla on microwave safe dish and place 2 slices of pepper jack cheese
  3. Distribute the sausage pieces and the chives evenly.
  4. Cover with rest of the cheese
  5. Sprinkle with garlic salt
  6. Cover with the other tortilla.
  7. Microwave for 45 seconds.
  8. While it is in the microwave, heat up a pan/skillet.
  9. When out of the microwave, move to pan/skillet and heat up until crispy.
  10. Cut in 4 pieces to serve.
  11. *Serve with ranch. We recommend: "Ken's buttermilk ranch".
  12. *Serve with your favorite hot sauce.. We recommend: "Pepperplant".

Nice...very interesting...will try this...I'm gonna add a scrambled egg with the sausage...to make it breakfast Quesadilla, but looks good just like it is!! thanks
