How to make it

  • Heat the water in a pan (on medium-high flame).
  • Grate the ginger into it.
  • Bring it to a boil.
  • Once it starts boiling ,add the milk .
  • Once the milk starts boiling ,add the Tea Leaves
  • Crush the cardamom , i use a mortar and pestle to do that..
  • Once it comes to a roaring boil. Add the crushed cardamom and mix.
  • The sugar can be added at this point or it can be added straight into individual cups while serving.
  • Switch off flame and cover for about 3-4minutes.
  • Strain the tea and serve hot.
