How to make it

  • 1. In a small stock pot over medium heat, saute the onion in butter until tender. Add the garlic and chicken broth and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and add canned pumpkin, stirring to blend well. Bring to a simmer.
  • 2. Slowly pour in half ‘n’ half, continuously stirring to prevent scorching. Add seasonings; stir again, and then taste until seasonings are satisfactory.
  • 3. Heat through and serve immediately.
