How to make it

  • 1.bring the sugar, lemon zest and water to the boil at a low to medium heat then remove from heat.
  • 2. add the basil and salt and allow to seep for 30 minutes.
  • 3. Strain, then ad lemon juice and refrigerate until cold (2 hours or overnight).
  • 4. turn on your ice cream maker and pour in mixture. It will take 15-20 minutes to achieve desired consistency, 5 minutes before this, ad the remaining zest.
  • 5. Enjoy
