How to make it

  • In 3 Tbsps. of vegetable oil, saute sunflower seeds and diced onion for 2 minutes. Add peanut butter and stir, being careful not to burn it. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl or cup, mix chicken base with brown sugar, garlic and 3/4 cup of water. Stir water mixture into peanut butter mixture. Add vinegar and soy, heat through, and serve. Add sliced onion as garnish.
  • Serve cold or warm with a 1/2 lb. of cooked vermicelli.
