Spicy Southwest Rub

- 1 Tbsp ground ancho or pasilla chile pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp paprika shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl stir ingredients together and mix well. Pour into a glass spice jar. Fasten lid & store in a cool, dry place.
- To use: Sprinkle about 1 Tbsp onto 1 lb of meat. Cook as desired.
