Chili Burgers

- 1/2 pound italian sausage shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1/3 cup chili sauce, tomato-based shopping list
- salt and pepper (to taste) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat your grill at high heat. When hot, lightly oil the grate.
- Combine the Italian sausage, beef, chili sauces, salt and pepper in a medium sized bowl. Shape into 8 balls of meat, then flatten into patties.
- Grill for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Serve on buns with the preferred toppings.
- NOTE: You may use more chili sauce, as desired, in patties; I usually almost double the amount, which creates a extremely moist burger, but keep in mind it also falls apart easily.
