How to make it

  • Make pastry dough and divide into two portions. With one portion, roll out and fit into a round cake pan that is about 2" deep (or a springform pan).
  • After pastry is in, line bottom with layer of ham, then spinach, then cheese and continue this until all ham, spinach and cheese are used up. Beat eggs and pour over top of layers. Cover with pastry and crimp edges like you would for a pie.
  • Bake at 350 for approximately 90 minutes or until pastry is golden. Remove from oven and let sit for approximately 15 minutes before cutting into pie wedges.
