Seitan Stroganoff

- 1 package (8-10 ounces) seitan shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 16 ounces (6 cups) mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon tarragon shopping list
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons tamari shopping list
- 1 cup low fat sour cream shopping list
- 2 cups broth or water shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 8 ounces frozen peas shopping list
- 1 package no yolk egg noodles, cooked al dente shopping list
How to make it
- Brown the seitan in a large pan and set aside. Sauté the onions, mushrooms, tarragon, nutmeg, bay leaf. Season with black pepper and tamari. Mix the sour cream, flour and broth and add to the pan. Heat thoroughly, then add the seitan and frozen peas. Add the cooked egg noodles. Mix well and serve.
