How to make it

  • Sauté veggies, salt, and pepper in soup pot.
  • Add boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Do not drain.
  • In a separate pot, melt margarine, stir in flour. Gradually add milk.
  • Add cheese and stir until melted. Add bacon.
  • Combine cheese sauce with undrained vegetables.
  • Heat through – do not boil.
