Lemon Almond Chicken

- 1 package (about 1 ½ lbs.) Foster Farms Boneless skinless chicken Breast, cut into ½ inch strips shopping list
- 1 TBS. vegetable oil, divided shopping list
- 2 garlic clove, finely chopped shopping list
- 2 TBS. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 2 TBS. lemon juice or half of a lemon shopping list
- 1 tsp. sugar/Splenda shopping list
- 1 tsp. Grated lemon peel shopping list
- ½ tsp. dill shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
- Hot cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse chicken; pat dry.
- In large skillet or wok, over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Cook chicken and garlic until chicken is no longer pink; set aside.
- In skillet, heat 2 tablespoons oil.
- Stir in flour.
- Mix in chicken broth.
- Heat mixture to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice, sugar, lemon peel, and dill. Mix in chicken and almonds.
- Use salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice.
