How to make it

  • Place ground beef and pork in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • Using the same skillet add the celery, let saute for about 5 minutes then add the onion and saute another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Add all ingredients to a large kettle. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
