Dutch Oven Black Forest Cherry

- 12 Qt Dutch Oven shopping list
- aluminum foil or Deep aluminum foil Pie Tin shopping list
- vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 Cans of Country cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1 Box of chocolate fudge cake mix shopping list
- 1 Hershey milk chocolate Candy Bar shopping list
- 2 12 Oz Cans of Cherry Dr. pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Line your 12 qt Dutch Oven with Aluminum Foil or place your deep aluminum foil pie tin inside the Dutch Oven
- Coat the sides of the foil with vegetable oil
- Pour the contents of both Cans of pie filling into the bottom of the lined Dutch Oven
- Pour contents of cake mix over pie filling
- Pour 1 full can and 1 half can of soda over cake mix (Do Not Mix)
- Break chocolate bar into small pieces and place over top of cake/soda mix
- Cover Dutch oven and place on top of 8 to 10 hot coals
- Place 12 to 15 coals on top of Dutch Oven
- Turn Dutch Oven 1/4 turn every 15 minutes
- Replace coals as needed while cooking
- Cobbler should take about 1 hour to cook
